Gilt.com offers deals up to 70% off on high-end luxury items. These items consist of clothing, accessories, home decor, and even technology gadgets! You can sign up for the daily gilt email to get the daily specials emailed to you or you can look at the web page to get them as well. The deals go live at noon each day and you can buy them items until they are sold out or until midnight.

Today’s specials include the very popular Vera Wang bedding collection and Jacob & Co Jewelry line. A deal from yesterday was the Polaroid mobile printer for a low price of $39. A great deal a few weeks back was a Kate Spade purse for under $90!

Last Minute Shopping

Now that we are 3 days away from Christmas, the Wi-Ex team thought we would give everyone a few last minute shopping tips to keep you sane while in the battle of the lines at the mall:

1.       Have a shopping buddy who can stand in line while you shop around and so  you can avoid the lines. Take turns with your buddy being the shopper and the space holder and the two of you will be out of the mall before you know it!

2.       Check for last minute shopping deals online. There are still a few online stores offering shipping before the 25th if you order early in the week.

3.       Try to be at the stores when they open so you can be the first in and the first out!

4.       Make lists before you head to the mall. Doing this will help you keep your sanity while facing the crowd. Sometimes with the sheer amount of people, holiday music, and heat in the malls will make you lose your cool. You’ll lose track of your list, and before you know it you’ll forget your important items.

5.       Try to pick your last minute gifts you need at a common super store, like Wal-Mart, Target or Kohl’s– Think one stop shopping!

Shopping Deal of the Week

 In these last few weeks of holiday shopping the malls and shops are packed full, to say the least. Utilizing shopping tactics like Overstock.com will let you shop at home in your holiday pjs and save that precious holiday time. This week I am focusing on the last-minute holiday savings that can also make things productive. Overstock.com is a popular source for shopping online these days. Overstock.com offers consumers is savings of both money and time. The way this site works is the company buys surplus and returned merchandise and offers in on an online E-commerce marketplace at a discounted price.

This holiday season Overstock.com is running what they call “25 Days, 25 Deals”, which is a deal a day for the 25 days leading up to Christmas. Now that we are in on the 15th day there are 10 days left to get these amazing deals for your last-minute shopping. The deal for today is a Hi-Resolution LCD Digital picture frame for the low-cost of $34.99. This is a steal because in the stores this item is going for $50 or more! This item can be shipped to your home by 12/24 so make sure to order someone near and dear to you one of these gifts before they are gone!

Is everyone ready for Black Friday 2010? I’ve searched the preview deals for the busiest shopping day of the year and so far Wal-Mart wins with the best electronic deals! Although Wal-Mart’s deals vary by region, all locations will have great specials. Searching through the Atlanta area deals, I found a 50″ plasma HDTV for……$598!!!  That deal is something worth waiting in line for!

Black Friday Deals on zBoost!

According to data from Nielsen Online, despite the challenging economy, Black Friday traffic to online shopping sites increases 10 percent year over year. Wi-Ex will be running Black Friday deals on their website on Black Friday, November 27, 2009 through Cyber Monday, November 30, 2009.

Shopping Deals: Shipping Savings

Another great way to save a few bucks during the holiday season is taking advantage of the free shipping deals that retailers offer you. This year stores are trying to get their numbers up with a little persuasion which benefits the shopper more than anyone. The free shipping is online only which means you don’t even have to get out of your pjs to cross a few items off your list. Make a list of the things you will be needing from each store and if it adds up to the free shipping limit then buy them now in order to get this deal. I do have to warn you though….the worst thing you can do is to buy random items just to get free shipping, this is a huge shopping mistake and will only cost you more in the end! Also taxes are not included in this limit so the items in your chart have to add up to the limit for the free shipping. Following are a few stores that are offering free shipping this week in the U.S.:

Target has a section in their weekly ad titled “Great Gifts Under $25″ which is nice regardless of your budget. The best thing about these deals is that while the price tag for these gifts is low, their value is well over $25, guaranteeing that the kiddos will have huge smiles on their faces. Now that the holidays are coming up on us quickly, every week our team will post the sales around town that can help everyone save big during the busiest shopping season of the year. These days everyone likes to save a little extra here and there and the little savings really do add up in the end. With the following small savings tips you have more money enjoy in the new year and have more to give in the present:

1. Cheap Treats

 A creative saving technique that will allow people to save up to 75% on their stocking stuffer candy is to buy the candy this week. With Halloween over the candy is on sale for up to 75% off. Some of these candies don’t have anything Halloween themed on them so they will be fine to have during Christmas and some stay good for months to come. Check the expiration dates and get to buying to save!
