Trying to keep up with my favorite shows every week has gotten harder as I’ve gotten older. In college, my roommates and I had a DVR, so keeping up with our shows was easy- I watched them when I had time, and didn’t have to rearrange my schedule for them. Now that I’m working full-time and living on my own, I’ve opted to stick with regular old cable, and have discovered how easy it is to get behind on some of my old favorites. Luckily, I have recently discovered Hulu.
Hulu is an online database of TV shows and movies that don’t require you to download a media player to watch. The shows stream from their website (much like YouTube videos), and you can watch them anytime for free. With Hulu, you are able to watch all seasons and episodes of any show, and can find the most popular or most recently added episodes easily. Like most online TV episodes, there are limited commercial interruptions are which are mildly irritating, but still not as bad as live TV. Also, on Hulu, you are able to search for content based on interest- Food, Drama, Comedy, etc. to find new shows that you may not have seen before.
Happy watching!
